Take a good look!
Into our not too
distant past
We will see people
who have died
in wars and other
honorable places
It was always out
of human loyalty
those standards
which they have
soundly believed.
Now that loyalty
seems dead and
it's no longer
that human virtue
that's responsible
for making that
heartfelt decision.
Today it’s simply
Bought and sold
Ever since money
Threw her ugly hat
in our human ring
Love is no longer
The reason those
beautiful voices
and those sincere
blessings we receive.
Each and every
time they sing.
Is not like it use
to be anymore.
Money has captured
The best of mankind
and now it’s quite a
vastly different thing.
Take a good look!

I must admit that i cried all the way through the video, as much as i love Michael, He was no God. If people would get that excited about the horrible conditions some have to endure all over the world. The tear that rolled from Gandhi's eye told it all so well. The money spent at the concert would feed the poor. Why can't we get excited about the living conditions around the world? Why do we hold the entertainers with such high esteem and hardly remember Mother Teresa. What are we teaching our children today? Do they even know about the suffering around the world? We can all do more, me included..Thank you Sky..I guess you can tell, this really touched me...
Sincere thanks to you Cyndi. I always pay careful attention to every comments to what I write and the truth is my only prayer , is asking God to reveal the meaning to those who read.
My prayers got answered again in you . That's exactly what my whole intent is here I won't put any of my books on here, until they published , you should not put yor best stuff on here , put your intent and people should know what direction you are heading and be able to relate to your books or cooking or so when you announce it. See why the stars , and the politicians and the singers can, even if they cannot write ,would have some one write for them and sell millions of copies.
You have been chosen , to at least know something about me. What eats me up even if I knew that there are lots of selfish people out there, is the level of their selfishness . They allow the blinders to go so far over their eyes , they cannot remove it , they have been capturesd hook , line and sinker, by the forces of Evil. So it's obvious that in trying to understand life, you have to live and let live, give and you shall receive, knock and it shall be opened onto you. We can only reap what we sow, If I was stuck , I will most definitely love for someone to help me. Same now I see so many people stuck my heart goes out to see which way I can be of assistance.
I am not asking anyone to come to church , I don't have that, I am telling everyone don't be foolish to join with anyone to say there is no God , might as well you say you have no parents.
It is written that the Fool have said in his heart there is no God.
So yes you will have to be a fool to allow yourself to sink so deep.
Thanks for your understanding Cyndi, that's all it take to live a beautiful life . Understanding, it will lead to belief in something truthful, see that's the reason we went to regular school , now the school of life. Your Life.

Yes, money is the all important factor these days. Unfortunately, I'm not sure money (or something else of value, i.e gold silver, jewels) wasn't always in the forefront. It's up to each of us to make sure money is not what makes the world go round. Your writing is a means to remind everyone of what is truly important. Keep reminding us, Sky. Voted up.

Never allow anything other than your true intent for yourself and your family to be your guide, whatever money one has it's never by accident, the accident could come by what you do with it.
But with God's wisdom in control it shall be well. Remember what he said according to his riches in glory.

I listen to him since he was a young boy which made me one also because we are the same age less a few months.

Sorry about the lyrics,that is not something rare , it happens even here , but when your intent for your work is greater than just a song , the entire army of the forces of evil , will end up doing unbelievable things, because truth and good cannot change.
We are not always meant to see what becomes of out investments, but I guarantee you that the Most High God is not asleep.
When you contribute to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army , you don't instruct them as to where you will like you investment to go. It's all good will and your belief in doing good is your real receipt.
When you invest with God. You can Smile.
But I understand , for even in mentioning it , you have done good , made someone more aware.

Voted up. It used to be that love made the world go round now it's money. I have a lot less money than I would like to have but I don't stress myself out over it. What I have is what I have and if the Lord has decided that it shall be enough for me at this moment I accept that decision. I know that He will see the hard work I put into everything and eventually He will reward me and then something will happen and I'll make money. God bless and let's be grateful for what we have.
I love Michael Jackson' songs. I think the media was too harsh on him. Your poem reflexes the brutal reality of mankind when people's souls got controlled by their dark side. Thank you for sharing this poem. Voted up!
Yes and I feel that He has a purpose for each of us. I am a writer who has tried to inspire others for many years and will continue as long as He allows me.
A very rightful piece and I vote it up and with much thanks. I am a writer who has written three song lyrics that were meant to help mankind. One was in 1970 for returning Vietnam Vets about friendship. One was about pride in America, written for the memory of a friend who died in the war, and another was for my father who passd away in a car accident, and was about how he raised me up and inspired me all of my life. They were never credited to my name as being the author, however, I was resigned in the fact that they accomplished their purpose. I am a writer who continues to write and hope that I inspire others and help them to get through this life. That is what I feel about my purpose and also I have been a teacher of Special Needs Kids for quite a long time. God has a special purpose for each of us,and may He bless us

Though we as a unit is only one man we represent all men and should always play our part, in any which way we can.
But like I say we have move so far away from
the Most High.
Suffering should be abolished , like the great effort put in to all other things all over the world. If ten dollars given by each person that wants suffering done. Collected and managed without the foolishness it's done. The real question is do we want it done?
